I'll take Useless Crap for 4300, Alex
Have a gander at last week's answers.

Same rules as always: NO Internet, post your submission, and highlight for the answers after I post them later.

1. (In honor my current favorite Wii game) Which was the first Megaman game to feature a) charging the Mega Buster, b) Rush, c) Beat, d) sliding, e) a weapon/power NOT obtained from a robot master?
2. In A Garfield Christmas, which member of the Arbuckle family does Garfield form a special bond with?
3. In the future city of San Angeles, what has toilet paper been replaced by?
4. In the original gothic horror novel Vampire Hunter D, what famous quote does D whisper that utterly unnerves the vampire Noble, Count Magnus Lee?
5. Who is Terry Gene Bollea?

1. Megaman firsts! a) MM4, b) MM3, c) MM5, d) MM3, e) MM (the original game featured the Magnet Beam, a "weapon" that created temporary platforms).
2. Garfield takes a quick liking to the normally sedate but strong-willed Grandma Arbuckle. In one of the more touching moments in Garfield history, he gifts her with a stash of love letters from the now-deceased Grandpa Arbuckle that he found out in the barn, on Christmas morning.
3. Much to John Spartan's dismay, he learns that toilet paper has been replaced by a mysterious trio of seashells. He never figured out how to use them.
4. The cursed prophecy declaring the downfall of vampire society, originally uttered by the Sacred Ancestor himself, the words "Transient guests are we" will throw any vampire off their guard with their reminder that despite the many ways in which they are superior to the human race, they are doomed to fall and be buried by the sands of time, while humanity remains to inherit the earth.
5. You might know him by his screen name, Terry Hogan, or by his much more widely known "stage" name, Hulk Hogan.

Good luck!

He can take out a murderous psychopath and his genetically enhanced cronies single-handedly, but he can't figure out how to use the three seashells!

1) That's five questions on the first line :-P
a. Megaman X
b. Megaman 3
c. Megaman 4
d. Megaman 3
e. Megaman 3

2) Jon's hick brother, whose name I forget.
3) Three seashells (or alternately, citations for cursing)
4) No idea.
5) Uwe Boll's real name?

1) b and d are correct. There were earlier instances of a and e. Beat was not in 4 (though his co-creator, Dr. Cossack, was introduced in that game).

2) His name is "Doc Boy", but he's not the one.

3) Heheh, ayup!

5) No sir. But now I'm inspired to come up with an entertaining Uwe Boll question...

1a. Mega Man 4 added the Mega Buster.
1b. Rush first appeared in Mega Man 3.
1c. Beat was introduced in Mega Man V.
1d. Sliding first appeared in MM3 as well.
1e. The first ability not won from a robot master was Mega Man 1's Magnet Beam, which was a pickup in the Elecman stage.

2. Garfield formed a special bond with Grandma Arbuckle. I may be remembering her name wrong.

3. The three seashells!

1 a.) Mega Man 4 was the first time you were able to charge the Mega Buster.
b.) Mega Man 3 was where Rush appeared--in Mega Man, you had the Platform Beam and in Mega Man 2, you got Items #1, 2 and 3 after beating certain stages in order to get you higher.
c.) Mega Man 5, as Beat was developed for Mega Man by Dr. Cossack after Mega Man's generous help in Mega Man 4.
d.) Again, Mega Man 3 introduced sliding to the series, a nice, but unnecessary feature.
e.) The original Mega Man was actually more innovative than a number of the later games in this respect, as the platform beam is obtained in Elec Man's stage.

3. What the hell are these three shells for?
5. Hulk Hogan, the one-time king of professional wrestling.

He is the single boss I find I need the appropriate weapon for more than anyone else. I had a bitch of a time with him my first playthrough when I didn't know what to use.

No spoiling. I still haven't beaten Plug Man.

I refuse to use the weapon. I will get the Trusty Sidearm achievement.

Oh, no spoilers there, not really. I specifically omitted the weapon he is weak against (and Wily). It's just that the basic attack pattern he uses is similar to Wily's (except the latter is the ON CRACK version...)

Nicely done on Trusty Sidearm =)

See, I didn't want to know that ahead of time. I wanted to find out what Wily's attacks were for myself, by getting there.

Easy for you to say. I'm trying to pick up several "clear the game" achievements, including No Coffee Break, and Almost Invincible, so it's taking a while.

The colored blobs? Yeah, that was the cause for much headache for me. Took too long to memorize the stupid pattern.

I miss Rock Monster.

Okay, you're right, dunno why I got those out of order.

Ironically, I fought him again last night and figured out all three of the proper weapons to use against him in one go. Took long enough X.x
